Swiss-born graphic designer and blogger par-excellence Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swiss Miss) recently posted a YouTube link to a talk from American philosopher Alan Watts.
In the first couple of minutes Watts beautifully sums up what has been my life philosophy all along:
”The essential principle of business, of occupation in the world, is this: Figure out some way in which you get paid for playing.”
For many of us this surely is an ideal, not a reality – and still: Should you be in the fortunate situation of being able to have choices, I encourage you to follow Watts’ advice. It served me very, very well over the years!
