We entrepreneurs sometimes find us in the rut of doing busy work. We are working hard and long, putting in the hours and pushing the boulder up the mountain.
And as true as that might be…
Sometimes we should stop and ask ourselves if we are still climbing the right mountain.
Has something changed in our assumptions which should make us reassess? Has the competition done something which should make us re-evaluate? Do we have customer feedback which indicates a change?
It’s easy to get stuck in busy work — assuming that as long as we’re moving forward, we are progressing. That is only true if we are climbing the right mountain.
