Today I had the great pleasure to talk at Singularity Universities’ Graduate Studies Program about “Defining your Impact — How to develop the goals and strategies to achieve impact” (in case you’re interested — here’s the deck).
The discussion which ensued after my talk, circled around the question of how one should frame the impact one wants to have with their respective company, product or service. I was reminded to two earlier discussions I had with two phenomenal social entrepreneurs whom I both told the same thing:
Pick a problem you’re deeply passionate about solving. Hone in on what it exactly is that you’re solving. And then: Aim high. Think big. And work on solving the problem once and for all!
When the stakes are high and the vision is clear — people will rally behind you.
