I was taught the following lesson by a highly accomplished and brilliant marketeer:
Picture a stack of Lego bricks. That’s what most companies give their customers.
Now picture the Lego Millennium Falcon. That’s what your customers want.
It might be made out of Lego bricks — but they want the Millennium Falcon.
Don’t hide behind the pile of Lego bricks and assume that they will figure it out. It is your job to give them their Millennium Falcon.
