Caroline Myss once said: We evolve at the rate of the tribe we are plugged into.
I believe this to be fundamentally true. Every time I made significant strides in my personal development throughout my career, it was due to the people I was surrounded by: I studied with some of the most amazing minds I ever met (many of them became highly influential entrepreneurs). I worked with people at eBay, who were so wicked smart that I still wonder how I made it into this group. At Mozilla I had the privilege to be guided by some of the smartest people in all of Silicon Valley.
Find the right tribe and those people will inspire and push you; they will demand great things from you; they will make you learn new things and do things better than you ever did them before. They will make you think in new ways and challenge your assumptions. They will support you and be there for you when the going gets tough. They make you better.
Go, find your tribe! And donโt settle for anything less.
